Configuring the Aastra CNX

Step Action

1 At the Aastra CNX Main Menu, select option 2, and press <Enter>.

Welcome to the

Aastra CNX Conference Network Switch

Main Menu

1. Run network and time configuration

2. Change Telnet access

3. Set date and time

4. Configure Network Time Protocol (NTP)

5. Force reboot

Please select an option: 2↵

The following prompt displays:

1. Enable

2. Disable

2 Enter “1” to enable Telnet, or enter “2” to disable Telnet on the Aastra CNX, and press <Enter>.

The setting is saved and displays the main menu.

3 You have successfully changed Telnet access on the Aastra CNX.
